Bukayo Saka has been a standout performer since making his debut as a 17-year-old. Joining the Hale End Academy aged eight, Bukayo rose through the system and hasn’t looked back since.
He was named Arsenal Player of the Year in both 2020/21 and 2021/21 as the England international became an integral part of Mikel Arteta’s young side. In 2022/23, Bukayo produced an incredible 27 goal contributions as we finished in second place.
Our young winger enjoyed another stellar season in 2023/24, finishing as our top scorer in both the Premier League (16) and all competitions (20) with career-best totals. He also contributed nine assists in the league and four in the Champions League to go with his four goals in Europe, captained the club for the first time in a 5-0 home win over Sheffield United and celebrated his 200th appearance the following month – the fourth-youngest player to reach that milestone for us.
Bukayo enjoyed an electric start to 2024/25, creating 10 assists in his first 13 Premier League matches. His season was derailed by a hamstring injury in December 2024. He returned to action and made an immediate impact, scoring against Fulham seven minutes into his comeback. Bukayo also netted in our famous victory over Real Madrid, chipping Thibaut Courtois to help us reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
A senior international since October 2020, he played in his second major tournament in 2022, scoring three goals at the Qatar World Cup as England reached the quarter-final. He represented his country again at Euro 2024, becoming Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer for the England national team when he netted against Switzerland in the quarter-final.
